Super Impact Resistance
Polycarbonate lenses are among the most impact resistant lenses available today. It is up to 60 times stronger than glass and up to 10 times stronger than hard resin lenses. Polycarbonate is the only high-index lens material that can be surfaced to a 1.0mm center thickness and still pass the FDA drop-ball test. So it is ideal for all customers, esp. childern, students, and sports enthusiast.
Super Thin and Super Light
Thanks to its extremely light specific gravity of 1.2 and high index of 1.586, polycarbonate lenses are up to 46% thinner, and 30% lighter than hard resin lenses and 9% thinner and 25% lighter than 1.60 hi-index organic lenses. Eyewear made of polycarbonate lenses is thin, lightweight, attractive and comfortable.
Outstanding UV Protection
Exposure to UV light is believed to contribute to the development of cataracts and other eye disorders. polycarbonate lens has built-in ultraviolet protection to block 100% UVB and UVA up to 390nm.
Stable Performance and Less Stress
polycarbonate lenses are made from original GE Plastic optical grade materials and are very stable during extreme environment (till 140o C or 280o F). Meanwhile, the new generation multi-shot injection technology effectively eliminate the stress of lenses.
Aspherical Lens Design
polycarbonate lenses have "hyperplane" aspherical design. It guarantees the correct diopter while eliminating the unwanted distortion also making the eyewears more attractive looking.
More Environmental Friendly
Not only biologically-decomposed the polycarbonate material is, we also use a new nontoxic hardening liquid. So lenses are fully environmentally friendly.
